Great British Beer Festival 2023 | CAMRA

What better way to celebrate International Beer Day than to visit the Great British Beer Festival hosted by CAMRA - the Campaign for Real Ale. We had yet another amazing day trying all of the incredible beers they had to offer. It's truly inspiring to see and meet fellow independent brewers thriving. If you have the opportunity to visit, go show your support!

'The Armoury' awarded CAMRA Pub of the Year 2023

We are extremely proud to announce we have been awarded 'Pub Of The Year 2023' by the Maidstone and Mid Kent CAMRA - the Campaign for Real Ale branch. Thank you to everyone who has supported our brewery and taproom, we could not have won this without our amazing team and of course our incredible loyal customers!

Musket Brewery's 9th Birthday

Musket Brewery celebrates nine years of brewing with a fantastic day at the taproom, full of craft beers, local food, live music, Napoleonic war re-enactors and Morris dancers! It has been an incredible journey from starting out learning how to brew, honing our craft to opening our taproom and expanding our line up of fine Kentish ales. Cheers to everyone who came out to celebrate and a massive thank you to everyone who has supported the brewery over the years!

The Great British Beer Festival 2022 | CAMRA

A triumphant return to The Great British Beer Festival which is organised by CAMRA each year. The team from Musket Brewery had the chance to mingle with brewers, landlords and punters from across the UK and share in our mutual passion for all things beer and brewing. A great event hosted each year which saw some of Kent's top brewers attending and meeting up for a couple of well earned beers.

Blue Reef Festival 2022 | Lager Launch | Festival Lager

The Blue Reef Festival 2022, Skating, Music, Food, Bands, Art, Performers, local stalls and much more, what better place could there be to launch our first ever lager! John and the team at Blue Reef were kind enough to invite us to the festival to launch our first ever lager which we specifically created just for the festival.

Cask Filling | Trigger | Kentish Pale Ale

Another step in the beer brewing process, filling casks to get ready for the pub trade. Head brewer Scott gives a little behind the scenes tour of how we get our casks ready here at Musket Brewery.

This Is How We Brew It | Fife & Drum | Golden Ale

A look inside our brewery, following the beer making process as Rhys walks us through the brewing technique used to create our award winning Kentish Golden Ale, Fife & Drum.
All shot on location at our beautiful brewery and taproom in Maidstone, Kent.

Racking Off Beer | Gracious IPA

The Brewery Founder Tony talks through a few things we do post-brew! Follow the journey of our beer, as it goes from hazy to clear, travelling from the fermentation tank and into kegs.
Gracious IPA is a traditional Kentish Bramling Cross hops beer, that has a hop-forwards flavour with a spicy, blackcurrant and light citrus aroma. Leaving a dry finish with a lingering bitterness that begs for another sip. All shot on location at our brewery and taproom in Maidstone, Kent.

Flash In The Pan

A look in to the Kent Green Hop Beer movement, the history and the process of how it is made. With the majority of Hop growers in the UK located in the Garden of England, Kentish Brewers have developed a unique beer exclusive to their region. Our very own Flash in The Pan is a recognised traditional Kentish Green Hopped Ale, brewed the very day the hops are picked from a local farm. This special beer is limited in supply as it can only be brewed once a year when the hops are perfectly green. They are cut and transported straight to the brewery where they are instantly put in to the brew.

Matchlock

A look in to how we brew our award winning Matchlock Mild, a dark traditional Kentish Mild Ale. A good look in to our brewery and the process it takes to bring this smooth drop from mash to pint

Festival Lager

Our first evert lager brewed for the Blue Reef Festival 2022.  This was an exciting project to bring to life, it was the first ever beer we canned in house with our new canning machine. A beautifully pale lager with a focus on clarity and balance. Smooth and easy to drink with a slightly lower carbonation than a traditional European lager. The sweet, malty flavour with refreshing, hoppy after-taste will leave the lasting impression of summer festival vibes in your mouth.
